There's a little chill in the air today in sunny Florida. It seems like hurricane Sandy blew the fall chill down our way. We usually don't experience this kind of chill until winter, skipping fall altogether. But, since it feels like a winter chill, I thought a winter polish would be appropriate.
Check out Winterberry by Sinful Colors. It's a pretty dusty/grey amethyst/purple polish with a silver shimmer finish. It's absolutely gorgeous. Winterberry was released with the Study in Style collection back in September, but I still see it, some Walgreens haven't sold out.
Two coats do the trick, and this time two coats are necessary. One coat can look a bit streaky, but once you apply the second coat it's perfection.
Winterberry reminds me of a Zoya Kelly and Sally Hansen's Grey Area - with a shimmer. In fact, it also reminds me a bit of Zoya Neeka, except Pinta's glittery shimmer is gold.
So, what do all these comparisons mean? Well, it's justification of course. Sure they look similar, but they're certainly not the same! And if you need more convincing, Sinful Colors polishes are only $1.99 so they are super affordable. The best part, they perform as well as the high end polishes that cost four times as much. If your Walgreens still has this color, I'd definitely pick it up.
What do you think? Do you like it? Do you agree with my comparisons?
