Manicure Monday: Zoya Jacqueline

OPI Nail Envy base coat, Zoya Jacqueline (2 coats), Sally Hansen Insta-Dri top coat

As promised, this week is yet another double feature manicure posting. And today seems to be a big day for Zoya on this blog. I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with nude polishes. Sometimes I get on this huge nude polish kick. Other times, I don't even want to look at it. I'm not sure what triggers this ebb and flow for me, but I'm happy to report, I'm in a loving place with Zoya Jacqueline. I think because it doesn't really look like a regular nude to me.

Jacqueline is a pretty beige creme that to me looks like it has just the slightest bit of yellow to it. It's incredible opaque and has a milky finish. As such, it does have the slightest bit of streak action going on with the first coat, but my second coat of polish completely evened it out. Here's where it gets interesting -- when I'm pale (like in the pic above) this color has a slight pale yellow-beige look to it; when I have self tanner on it looks like a true beige. Regardless of this, I really liked this color. And I think it's chameleon-like quality made me like it even more. It keeps it from being boring, in my opinion.

What do you think? Do you like Jacqueline and the fact that it can seemingly be two polishes in one bottle?
