Manicure Monday: Zoya Micky

OPI Nail Envy base coat, Zoya Micky (2 coats), Sally Hansen Insta-Dri top coat

Happy Monday everyone. What better way to start off the week than with a fun and happy manicure? OK, maybe there are plenty of better ways, but a pretty manicure isn't a bad option. This week I'd like to share Zoya's Micky from the Summer 2013 Stunning collection.

Micky is a beautiful, bright coral creme with a hint of pink to it, but for the most part it's a pretty true coral. I absolutely love it. I have a hard time resisting a coral polish during the summer. It looks so pretty against bronzed skin and it doesn't discriminate against fair complexions either. Micky is no exception. It's bright without screaming for attention like a neon would and has a beautiful shiny candy-coating-esque finish.

The polish is really easy to work with, giving you excellent opaque color pay off in one coat. I did experience a little bit of streaking on the first coat, but it evened out on its own as it sat on my nail. I added a second coat to completely even out the finish and because two coats of polish helps your manicure last longer (not because I needed to build up the color or make it more opaque)

I wish summer could last longer, so I could have more time to wear all the pretty summer colors I have in my arsenal. Good thing summer sticks around longer down here in Florida. I love bright colorful nails. They put a pep in my step.

What do you think of Zoya Micky? Is coral one of your favorite summer nail polish shades?
