Hey everyone, I hope you had a nice weekend. Mine was pretty low key and that was nice. While rearranging my beauty stash to make room for the fun stuff I brought home from The Makeup Show, I remembered I still had a few polishes left to swatch from my Premiere nail polish haul. Yes, I'm still swatching those.
One of those colors, OPI's Miami Beet, I purchased after seeing this photo on Pinterest. This gorgeous deep burgundy red, is perfect for fall -- especially with Oxblood being a popular hue. It's vampy without being too dark and totally classic.

Miami Beet's formula is pretty easy to work with. However, I did notice it's slightly thick, a bit sticky, and it didn't seem to glide along the nail as smoothly as others. And while I noticed this, I also noticed that it didn't seem to make a difference in the final result. One coat delivered a streak-free, bump-free, completely opaque finish. The second coat made the color deeper.
I love that this color will transition easily from fall to winter. I can see it becoming a quick favorite.
