Review: Not Your Mother's Whip it Up Cream Styling Mousse

Oh why, hello there. It's me again. Sorry for the momentary absence. Everyone in my household (that means me too) has been super sick. And whatever germs we were carrying totally kicked our asses. We're talking bed ridden and house bound for nearly two weeks. It's been awful.  Even as I type this, I have the remnants of a cough and sniffles. You know, the ones that stick around long after you no longer feel like you're on the brink of death forcing you to remember the horror you just experience (as if you really needed that). So that's what I've been going through -- among other fun stressors. I hope you've been having a much better February so far.

But enough with the gloomy update. Because today I have a little fun to share with you. And to be quite honest, I needed a bit of fun in my life after that sickly experience.

I'm back with you to tell you about one of the products I got in my Influenster Spice Voxbox. And that product is the Not Your Mother's Whip it Up Cream Styling Mousse ($3 for 3oz, $6 for 7 oz). Now I haven't used styling moussed since the dark ages when I was in middle school and I avoid looking at pictures from those days because the crunchy, wet-look disaster gives me nightmares.

But guess what? Mousse has come a long way since those days. And the Not Your Mother's mousse is actually formulated to provide volume and hold without making it look like you dipped you hair in super glue. And bonus, it smells like vanilla cupcakes. Yum!

Check out my review below to find out all the details and whether I think it's worth the purchase.
