I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend! For those of us in the U.S. it was a holiday. Hooray Independence Day!
Did you guys do anything fun? Have some yummy BBQ? Lounge by the pool? Frolic on the beach? All of the above?
The hubs and I went to see The Dirty Heads and Sublime on Sunday. So Monday turned out to be a low key day. Kicked off the 4th with a big brunch. Grabbed groceries to stock up the fridge. And settled onto the couch like pair of potato sacks. I was going to take advantage of the gorgeous weather to spend the day at the pool (I could not brave the holiday beach crowd). But the food baby in my stomach had other plans for me. Those plans involved spending the day digesting my meal. So basically I squandered the day away -- and it was kind of glorious. Every once in a while, that's just necessary. Because today I feel refreshed.
So, now I'm ready to dive through my beauty trash to explore all the haircare products I've used up lately(ish) and tell you whether they're worth purchasing (not all of them are...).
Reminder: I have dry hair that I bleach and heat style. The products I use will be geared towards replenishing much needed moisture and protecting my hair from styling abuse. There's a lot of conditioner in this video. You'll see.
