Alright readers, run, don't walk, to your local Sephora. These Benefit creaseless cream eyeshadows are available for only $10. No, that is not a typo. As you can see in the picture, they are $10! And you get two - normally $19 each - for $10. The colors in this package are Honey Bunny (the darker/pinkish one) and Recess (a nude beige). These are my very first Benefit products, and let me tell you, I am quickly becoming a huge fan. They are indeed creaseless, and these two neutral colors are perfect if you want to do that gorgeous retro/pin-up look. They go on smoothly and stay put all day.
Also, the packaging is adorable! I still keep the shadows in their little boxes, I love the packaging so much. As you can kind of see in the picture, the boxes have pictures of these '50s-like, pinup dolls. They have names, though I can't remember them right now. When you open the box, you can take out the pictures (its a little slim cardboard pic) and in the back they have these cute little quotes. The quote for Honey Bunny (the apparent "bad girl" of the two) says, "A wink is worth a thousand words." So cute! If you are not familiar with Benefit you can go to their site (or better yet, check it out while you are at Sephora picking this little steal up) and you'll see that these pinup dolls are essentially the brand's motif. It's adorable! I love it!
Now, I must give fair warning, if you don't have a Sephora near you, sadly you won't be able to take advantage of this offer, as it is only available in stores. I saw the deal in the store when I went to in search of the Flashy Liner holiday gift pack (for the 4th time). They didn't have the set yet, and gave me a free shipping coupon since I had been in the store several times trying to find this elusive liner set. So, I figured I'd just make one purchase and order the shadows with the Flashy liners. Wrong! As much as I searched, I could not find the shadow set. I had to go back to the store to pick them up. The girl behind the register said that that they were only available at the Sephora store. That will teach me to never walk away from such an amazing bargain again. I was lucky! When I first saw them, they had tons, but when I stopped by this weekend, their supplies had significantly dwindled. That is why I say, run to your nearest Sephora. You won't be disappointed. I know I will certainly fork over the $19 when these babies run out.
Also, I just popped by the Benefit website and saw that they are discontinuing one of the creaseless shadows (Bunny Hop). It's a beautiful shimmery pink, and it's marked down to $9.50. Here is the picture from the site:
Does anyone have any additional Benefit products they just can't live without?
My Benefit look using Recess, a very light touch of Leather, from the Kat vonD Ludwig palette, in my crease, my Cargo black liquid liner, and L'Oreal Double Extend mascara.
